Video Editor & Graphic Designer Location: Fully Remote (must be based in the US) Job Type: Full-Time Create scroll-stopping content for a scaling DTC brand. We need a performance-focused video editor who can turn raw footage into high-converting ads and social content - with creative freedom and direct feedback loops on what's working. About Uproot Clean Uproot Clean is a fast-growing, eco-friendly pet care brand expanding across major retailers like Walmart, Target, and Chewy. Our marketing team is scaling rapidly, and we're looking for a video editor who wants to grow their skills in performance marketing while building a long-term role with a mission-driven company. The Role You'll be our go-to editor for short-form video content that drives salesβ€”think Facebook/Instagram ads, TikTok content, and social clips. You'll work with a steady flow of creator and product footage, turning it into thumb-stopping content that performs. This isn't agency churn-and-burn; you'll see what converts, iterate based on data, and refine your craft with real-time feedback. What You'll Do Video Editing & Production β€’ Create high-performing Facebook/Instagram ad creatives and social media clips β€’ Edit short-form content optimized for platform-specific formats β€’ Source and organize B-roll and stock footage using the provided subscriptions β€’ Manage creator content in Frame.io and maintain organized asset libraries Graphic Design & Assets β€’ Design marketing images, thumbnails, and social graphics β€’ Create on-brand visual assets using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Project Management β€’ Track assignments and status updates in ClickUp β€’ Follow naming conventions and file organization protocols β€’ Communicate proactively about timelines, blockers, and questions Requirements β€’ 3-5+ years of video editing experience, specializing in short-form content β€’ Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro skills (required) β€’ Proven experience creating or editing Facebook/Instagram ads β€’ Mid-level proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva β€’ Strong fundamentals in typography, color theory, composition, and motion graphics β€’ Fluent English β€” excellent written and verbal communication β€’ Self-managed β€” strong time management and ability to meet daily/weekly deadlines β€’ Proactive communicator β€” asks questions early, flags issues before they become problems β€’ Portfolio required β€” you must submit a portfolio showcasing your video editing work.
