What You’ll Do: Coordinating people and processes to ensure that our customers are transitioned on time and that the operations team will be successful in supporting the customer. Ensuring the success of the customer through the entire transition process using the framework and processes. Communicating to customers and the internal Dataprise teams following the Dataprise Transition Communication Plan. Creating and executing project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifying resources needed at the project level and assigning individual responsibilities to Transition Engineers. Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope and resolving issues that come up. Effectively applying the Dataprise Customer Transition Framework and enforcing project standards. Ensuring project artifacts are complete, accurate, and stored appropriately. Forecasting requirements and analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions where appropriate. Minimizing exposure and risk to Dataprise and customer on transitions. Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. Working to continually increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Striving to enhance department and organization by exhibiting ownership and exploring opportunities that add value to job accomplishments. What Skills & Experience You’ll Need: 3+ years IT transition and/or project management experience. Experience with the latest versions of the following technologies: Windows Server, Exchange Server, Small Business Server, Active Directory, Citrix, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VMWare, heterogeneous LAN environments. Proven leadership, management, analytical, problem solving and technical skills. Demonstrated, proven, and polished "soft skills" including: Diplomacy and ability to navigate challenging political waters Strength and confidence. Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills An aptitude for technology. Experience working in cross functional teams. Current PMP or PRINCE II and ITIL Foundation certifications strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business area preferred. Compensation: Dataprise is committed to maintaining a positive work environment by ensuring that compensation across the Company is managed in a competitive, consistent, and fair manner. Each Dataprise employee will be compensated in line with their specific scope of responsibility, skill level, and educational background, in addition to the projected impact on the success of the Company. We have a comprehensive Compensation Management System which establishes the guidelines we use in making compensation decisions and is comprised of compensation policies, salary structures, salary grades, incentive target guidelines, job descriptions, and career charts. This position’s Salary Range is: $80,000-$120,000 (NOTE: this is the range at the national average level; specific salaries offered will be adjusted higher/lower due to the local labor market of the candidate).
