They are seeking a Supply Chain Planner for their SCALE Rotational Program, which is designed to develop high-potential supply chain talent through structured rotations across various supply chain functions. Responsibilities Review statistically generated forecasts with Marketing and Global Supply Chain team and contribute to consensus forecast creation Review Multi-Echelon Inventory Safety stock targets and approve changes, noting input elements resulting in change Work with Global Marketing, Country Demand Planning, and Country Operations groups to identify all known demand sources (customer orders, scheduling agreements, distributor shipment, consignment, etc.) Maintain forecasts by meeting monthly with Product Managers reviewing past performance and future forecast (Marketing Handshake) New Product Launch Management Primary or backup Core Team Member for Supply Chain on New Product Development Team Develop launch plans, including forecasts, inventory targets, cannibalization plans, and introduction schedules with support from supply chain team members Execute launch workbooks and prepare distribution chain for product launch Contribute to the development of inventory plans Establish inventory targets (MEIO) Monitor inventory performance to plan and targets Management of expired, excess, and obsolescence reserves Allocate inventory to regions in short supply situations Support daily, weekly, and monthly planning processes utilizing Rapid Response (Advanced Planning System) Manage global demand signal for manufacturing (net requirements) Monitor manufacturing execution (Schedule Adherence) Provide inventory analysis Proactively manage service level exceptions and backorders Contribute to monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP) Process Review demand & supply balance; provide input if balance is not adequate Skills Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization 0-1 years of prior experience (or similar through internships/co-ops) in manufacturing planning, inventory control, or demand forecasting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relational database tools Working knowledge of DRP, MRP, and MPS planning systems Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP Experience with advanced planning tools, such as RapidResponse Exposure to just-in-time (JIT) practices in a manufacturing environment Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies Proven ability to adapt to change and drive results in evolving environments, with strong skills in change management, analysis, and problem-solving Prior internship experience with Boston Scientific Company Overview Boston Scientific is a medical technology company that designs and develops medical devices to diagnose and treat a wide range of condition.
