Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Site Reliability Manager to coordinate and continuously improve our IT operations while advancing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. This role is responsible for ensuring the high availability, reliability, and scalability of our internally developed front-end, back-end, and mobile application systems in a 24/7 environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate day-to-day IT operations and service delivery Ensure maximum system availability, reliability, and performance across all platforms Drive, evolve, and scale Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, incident response, and automation Own and improve 24/7 operational readiness, including on-call models and escalation processes Collaborate closely with development teams in agile environments (e.g., SAFe) to enhance system resilience and scalability Continuously identify and implement improvements based on incident analysis, KPIs, and operational insights Align operations with ITIL processes (Critical Incident, Incident, Problem, Change Management) Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, primarily within AWS environments Act as a bridge between operations, engineering, and business stakeholders. Senior-level experience in IT operations, Site Reliability Engineering, or a comparable role Strong expertise in ITIL-based service management and operational best practices Hands-on experience with AWS cloud systems Experience working in agile environments, preferably SAFe Deep understanding of IT operations needs, processes, and methodologies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Innovative mindset with a passion for evaluating and adopting new technologies (early adopter mentality) Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of empathy and the ability to engage effectively with people across the organization Strong team player with a collaborative and proactive approach Ability to operate effectively in a 24/7 environment Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) ITIL certification is a plus Experience with monitoring, automation, and DevOps methods and culture is highly desirable Languages English: C1 level or higher (required) IONITY is a joint venture of the car manufacturers BMW Group, Ford Motor Company, Hyundai Motor Group, Kia, Mercedes-Benz AG and Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche, along with BlackRocks Climate Infrastructure Platform as financial investor.
