Overview Join our dynamic team as a Remote Title Examiner on a contract basis, supporting multiple counties in Florida. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in real estate titles and abstracting. Responsibilities • Perform title searches and examinations for properties located in Florida counties • Utilize Titlepoint and various county clerk websites to gather and verify title information • Analyze and interpret property records, legal descriptions, and chain of title • Identify and report title issues, liens, encumbrances, and other relevant findings • Deliver accurate and timely reports in accordance with company standards Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in title searching and examination for the state of Florida- specifically in the following counties; Lafayette, Putnam, Santa Rosa, Walton and Union among others. • Knowledgeable in _____________ for the state of Florida • Proficiency with Titlepoint and online county records systems • Strong understanding of title insurance practices and procedures • Prior experience working with a major title insurance underwriter preferred • Excellent attention to detail and research skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment Compensation: Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
