They are seeking a Tier 1 Operations Support Specialist to help develop robust systems by implementing monitoring tools and automating processes while providing continuous operational support. Responsibilities Help the Intelligence Community develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure Build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible Reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair Support client missions with continuous and uninterrupted operation support Skills 1+ years of experience in a technical support role such as IT operations or help desk Experience performing initial troubleshooting for system, application, or network issues Experience using ticketing or incident management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow Experience with Linux or Windows system administration fundamentals Ability to follow standard operating procedures and document actions clearly Ability to work rotating round-the-clock shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire Experience monitoring enterprise systems, dashboards, logs, or mission applications Experience escalating incidents to higher-tier teams Knowledge of on‑call processes, after‑hours support models, or operational recall procedures Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff through strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in a high‑tempo environment Bachelor's degree Security+ or Network+ certification Industry cloud foundational AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Cloud+, or MS Azure Fundamentals certification Benefits Health Life Disability Financial Retirement benefits Paid leave Professional development Tuition assistance Work-life programs Dependent care Company Overview Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that specializes in analytics, technology, and engineering.
