ProSearch is a company specializing in payments and financial services, and they are seeking a Temporary Credit Analyst for a fully remote opportunity. The role focuses on developing credit risk strategies, performing data analysis, and optimizing credit controls throughout the customer lifecycle. Responsibilities • Develop and manage credit risk strategies across the customer lifecycle, including new accounts, line management, and collections • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify credit risk trends and recommend solutions • Optimize risk-return tradeoffs through data-driven decision-making across products and business lines • Monitor credit and collections performance; conduct deep-dive analyses to identify and address emerging risks • Partner with operations, fraud, decision science, and product teams to evaluate data sources and improve credit controls • Review and enhance manual and systematic credit processes for efficiency and compliance • Support the development of streamlined customer journeys in collaboration with product and marketing teams • Track industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation • Work with internal governance teams and external regulators to uphold risk and compliance standards Skills • 5 or more years in data and analytics or 3 or more years in credit risk, fraud analytics, or commercial risk • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools; experience with big data and data visualization platforms • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Understanding of risk decision engines or payment systems Company Overview • Pro-Search Inc. connects job seekers with Maine's top employers, offering staffing and recruiting services.
