The Subrogation Associate I role involves reviewing claims to identify subrogation opportunities, performing investigations, and managing assigned tasks effectively. Responsibilities Review claims weekly to identify and evaluate subrogation opportunities Perform investigations to establish liability, identify responsible parties, and determine applicable insurance coverage, preparing case files in accordance with departmental standards to support staff operations Engage directly with members and outside organizations to gather, clarify, and relay information Maintain ownership of assigned tasks by effectively managing time, priorities, and deadlines Skills High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of work experience beyond degree Familiarity with Epic EHR systems Familiarity in reviewing and analyzing medical records Familiarity with medical terminology and coding Proven experience handling high‑volume administrative workloads while meeting multiple competing deadlines Bilingual (Spanish/English) Eligibility to work in the US: Medica does not offer work visa sponsorship for this role.
