They are seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist users with hardware and software problems, primarily operating in a remote capacity. Responsibilities Serve as the initial point of contact for users seeking technical assistance Gather and analyze information about user issues to answer questions regarding installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of products Provide technical support for hardware, systems, sub-systems, and applications Assist users with navigating application menus and may be required to remote into customer’s computers Troubleshoot network connectivity issues while working with remote employees Skills Prior IT Service Desk operations experience Active SECRET clearance Current Comptia certification Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email issues, specifically MS Outlook Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing Telephone and listening skills Outstanding customer skills, with the ability to empathize and professionally troubleshoot and resolve customer's issues High School Diploma or equivalent Must perform well as part of a team under direct supervision Excellent written and verbal communications Must have one of the following: Network+, A+ or Security+ Certification Previous computer technical support Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords Proficient knowledge and understanding of Service Desk software and hardware technologies Benefits Full benefits package Company Overview CALIBRE Systems, Inc.
