Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. William Charles Construction Company, LLC, a MasTec Company, is hiring Field Engineers to support their Power Delivery team in the Midwest. The Field Engineer will assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager with project-specific quality plans, material inventory, and site management responsibilities. Responsibilities Performs field survey work in regards to layout and tracking of work activities, utilizing PC based software and GPS station/field equipment Manages project specific quality control records and ensuring that required reporting is accomplished Planning, scheduling and coordinating to ensure that all required audits/inspections are performed and documented Assist with material inventory and receiving paperwork Assist with final job closeout, as-builts, job binder creation Assist with subcontractor scheduling and management Will provide other duties as assigned Extended work hours and weekend work may be required Assist with RFI (Request for Information) submittals Skills Bachelor's degree (construction management, civil engineering or equivalent) preferred Previous construction experience desired Strong blue print reading/interpretation skills Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software packages quickly Proficiency with Microsoft suites program Strong communication skills.
