Role Overview The Quality Analyst Lead is responsible for designing and leading the testing, quality assurance, and governance processes for applications/systems. Work Arrangement This is a 100% Remote position Responsibilties Ensures projects or releases entering into QA are adhering to QA-CoE engagement policies, Project standards and governance Supports project teams to provide assurance that requirements, design, and other project deliverables meet standards as appropriate Leads test strategy, test plan & test case development, reviews, and approval Serves as a test lead on projects including defining the scope and testing approach, reviewing requirements and technical documentation for usage, testability, and traceability, deploying, and managing the testing framework, and managing testing resources. Typically supports multiple projects within a domain. Drives test execution and status reporting Manages defect triage meetings with project team during QA’s test execution Manages or participates in UAT testing, as well as, defect triage meetings Manages and monitors defect reports and works with developers and other project team members to verify resolution. Leads the quality assurance process for systems implementations including defining the validation approach, ensuring audit readiness, participating in vendor audits/evaluations and documenting validation results and requirements traceability Holds vendors to SLAs and may provide input to budgets Supports Quality Assurance Department audits and inspection activities Identifies Testing & Quality risks and mitigation strategies Develops complex test /validation plans for projects that may involve complex business processes and multiple technologies and stakeholders.Addresses uniquely complex quality issues with many unknowns and large risk to the organization / business May recommend the acquisition/development of a new testing tool or technique and may identify opportunities for automation of testing processes Participates in system implementation planning and technical design, contributing insights and ideas Understands database structures in order to build test data using query tools. Conducts technical assessments of team and provides feedback on performance, as necessary Education and Experience At least five to ten (5 – 10) years of QA experience required Possesses strong working knowledge of the testing methodologies, designing test scenarios and test scripts, including experiences testing in various Project & SDLC practices (i.e. PMBOK, Scrum, Waterfall, Iterative, & Agile), with the ability to learn and apply new and emerging concepts very quickly Demonstrates an understanding of application development methods as well as the fundamentals of requirement specification, design, and development/configuration Possesses experience leading testing efforts on projects, estimating schedules, resources, and dependencies Possesses seasoned experience in executing test cases, and in comparing results to requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives Developed broad understanding of the environment of the organization, to apply an understanding of the interoperability of systems and technologies to the testing/validation effort Understands and can identify the key business processes within the project Understands and can discuss the interrelationship of businesses and technologies within the project Reviews and utilizes business and functional requirements in conjunction with technical specifications in the development of test/validation strategies Expertise in using management & testing tools (i.e. MS Project, Quality Center/ALM & SQL) Prior experience as QA Lead in Healthcare; Healthcare Industry strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience; Degree in Computer Science preferred.
