Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to support end-to-end payroll operations for clients in France. The Payroll Specialist – France is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of European payrolls, with a primary focus on France. This role supports EOR payroll operations, works with external BPO providers, and acts as a back-up for in-house France payroll, ensuring continuity and compliance. Roles & Responsibilities Payroll Operations Support payroll processing for France, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements. Support and maintain in-house France payroll operations, ensuring consistent and accurate delivery, Run European payrolls via BPO providers, including payroll input validation, coordination, and payroll review. A Review payroll and expense calculations, payslips, and payroll outputs prior to finalisation.Compliance & Legislation Apply payroll knowledge and working understanding of French payroll legislation, including social security contributions, income tax withholding (Prélèvement à la Source – PAS), paid leave, and statutory deductions. Support compliance with URSSAF and other statutory reporting obligations, including DSN. Escalate complex payroll or compliance issues to senior payroll stakeholders as needed. Collaboration & Support Work closely with internal payroll, HR, finance, and EOR teams to ensure smooth payroll delivery across Europe. Liaise with BPO payroll partners to resolve payroll queries and ensure service-level expectations are met. Maintain accurate payroll documentation and support audits or internal reviews. Process Support Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and consistency. Support testing of regulatory changes, system updates, and payroll process enhancements.
