Job Description: The Trainer Senior provides leadership and mentoring to their peers to create alignment in approach as the team perpetuates a culture of superior service and high performing frontline teams through training and onboarding new employees in the operational areas of Select Health Member Services, Claims, Pharmacy Services, Appeals and Grievances and Sales Schedule Monday -Friday Hours are generally flexible, typically 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; schedules may vary based on training class needs Major holidays are generally observed; however, occasional holiday work may be required to support teams Essential Functions Responsible for the sharing knowledge, processes, and job essentials for frontline employees and contractors through training and mentoring. Expertly performing the responsibilities of an Operations Trainer position Supports peers in maintaining and developing training materials, establishing facilitation styles, and enhancing outlines to ensure a highly engaged learning environment that facilitates retention of information. Leads team projects and workgroups to improve training processes and foster alignment in deliverance of training content and engagement techniques. Responsible to provide mentorship to peers by training and onboarding in job essentials and day-to-day work. Responsible to lead specialty trainings that support larger products, plans, and initiatives and act as a subject matter expert who ensures higher-level curriculums are at an optimal place while ensuring caregiver success and contribution toward company strategies and key performance indicators, and performance guarantees. Demonstrated ability to implement effective solutions that solve for complex problems that create retention of concepts and job understanding for caregivers. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead other employees and peers with passion for helping others grow and be successful. Demonstrated ability to facilitate an effective and engaging learning experience. Demonstrated ability to coach other employees and peers while building rapport. Demonstrated effective project management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience facilitating training or presenting to groups of people Participation in job shadowing programs Certification in all department trainings Intermountain or other facilitated Project Management Course and Certification Intermediate skills in presentation programs Creativity in design and effective ways to communicate Coaching & Mentorship: Demonstrates the ability to effectively mentor peers and provide constructive, actionable feedback. Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide others, with a strong desire to support the growth and success of team members. Problem Solving: Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems by implementing effective solutions. Thinks creatively and approaches challenges from multiple perspectives. Training & Facilitation: Ability to facilitate training sessions or present to groups. Creates engaging learning experiences and effectively communicates ideas and concepts to others. Presentation Skills: Proficient in using presentation software and tools to support clear and engaging communication. Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, coordinating tasks, timelines, and team contributions to achieve goals. Physical Requirements Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or facilitate training. Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information. Ability to view, read, and navigate programs on TV monitors while presenting in a training room. See or read programs and documents on computer monitors for long periods of time. Operate computers and training equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information in a variety of mediums both in person and virtually.
