- Job Title: SQL Server DBA (MongoDB & Redshift)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA with strong expertise in MongoDB and Amazon Redshift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, high availability, security, and cloud data warehouse management.Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases (installation, configuration, backup, recovery).
- Manage and support MongoDB environments including replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
- Design, implement, and optimize data warehouses in Amazon Redshift.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning strategies.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and high availability (HA/DR).
- Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for deployment and automation.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Required Skills:
- 5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience.
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, indexing, query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB administration.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift architecture and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Preferred:
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience in production support environments.
