Job Description

Marketing/Event Coordinator (Entry Level) – Part Time Seeking an individual to support our marketing initiatives and event coordination efforts as part time or on an as-needed basis. This is a remote position with some occasional travel between office locations in Huntsville, AL. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events, both virtual and in-person. Support marketing campaigns, including social media content, email newsletters, and promotional materials. Update and maintain company website content or blog posts. Help design marketing materials, flyers, brochures, and presentations using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Coordinate logistics for events, including venue setup, vendor communication, and attendee management. Maintain marketing calendars and track project timelines. Assist with data collection, reporting, and post-event evaluations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging. Adhere to company AS9100, CMMC, and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: College courses or HS diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or 1 year of equivalent experience). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with attention to detail. Comfortable using social media platforms, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred: Experience in event planning or marketing internships. Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
