The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will develop strategic plans, assist attorneys with pitches, create content for various platforms, and coordinate firm events, contributing to the firm's growth and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities Develop strategic plans, identify new client opportunities, and assist attorneys with pitch materials and RFP responses Research opportunities and support in submissions for awards, publications, speaking engagements, advertisements/promotional opportunities, and RFPs/proposals Write short- and long-form content, including legal case summaries, social media posts, website content, newsletters, email campaigns, and press releases Help plan and coordinate firm events, including managing invite lists and RSVPs; coordinating guest & venue logistics; brainstorming themes and ideas as needed; marketing and follow-ups Create compelling visual content for social media, our website, newsletters, events, proposals, presentations, advertisements, and client communications Assist with other marketing responsibilities, such as website updates, email marketing, social media, research, and recordkeeping Skills Develop strategic plans, identify new client opportunities, and assist attorneys with pitch materials and RFP responses Research opportunities and support in submissions for awards, publications, speaking engagements, advertisements/promotional opportunities, and RFPs/proposals Write short- and long-form content, including legal case summaries, social media posts, website content, newsletters, email campaigns, and press releases Help plan and coordinate firm events, including managing invite lists and RSVPs; coordinating guest & venue logistics; brainstorming themes and ideas as needed; marketing and follow-ups Create compelling visual content for social media, our website, newsletters, events, proposals, presentations, advertisements, and client communications Assist with other marketing responsibilities, such as website updates, email marketing, social media, research, and recordkeeping Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, and Bridge Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Mac OS Legal industry knowledge/experience Experience with RFPs/RFIs, pitch decks, and firm resumes Strong writing & proofreading/copy editing skills Graphic design skills Newsletters/Email Marketing Excellent written and verbal communication, including ability to follow up and engage with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside parties in a professional manner Organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, as well as manage, label, and organize any needed content, assets, and files Meticulous attention to detail Proactive and problem-solving approach – someone who takes initiative to develop marketing strategies and ideas, learn new skills, and troubleshoot challenges as they pop up Having a strong network of legal and/or media contacts is a plus Strong photography, videography, photo retouching, & video editing skills Strong knowledge of audio and audio recording/editing is a plus Experience with Video editing software, such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci, and/or Adobe After Effects is a plus Benefits Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, HSA/FSA, 401K, and pet insurance coverage.
