Job Description

Telence Solutions is a growing startup consulting firm that delivers engineering and technology solutions to clients across a range of industries. They are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer / Operations Associate to join their team, providing support in engineering consulting and business operations while gaining certification in networking. Responsibilities Participate in a structured training program to achieve NRS II or CCIP certification within the first 12–18 months Support project teams with technical research, data collection, field observations, and report preparation Assist senior engineers and consultants on client engagements Manage scheduling, booking, and travel logistics for project teams Provide first-line IT administration support (hardware setup, account management, troubleshooting common issues) Conduct market research and compile information to support business development efforts Maintain internal documentation, filing systems, and project tracking tools Assist with general office administration and ad-hoc tasks as the business requires Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any discipline) or a diploma in a relevant Science or Technology program Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new tools quickly A proactive, 'go-getter' attitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow Legally eligible to work in Canada Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering Previous internship, co-op, or work experience in consulting, construction, or a technical environment Familiarity with basic IT systems (networking, cloud platforms, helpdesk processes) Benefits Certification Support: Fully funded (NRS II / CCIP track) Full sponsorship and mentorship toward NRS II or CCIP certification Hands-on exposure to real engineering consulting projects A collaborative, startup environment where your contributions are visible and valued Work directly with senior architects from top telecom vendors Gain exposure to service providers, utilities, and enterprise networks Build both technical depth and business acumen early in your career Join a high-growth, high-impact team where your work matters Company Overview Telence Solutions represents the convergence of speed, quality, technology, and innovation.
