They are seeking an IS Data Analyst responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to support IT projects and ensure proper documentation of data lineage and transformations. Responsibilities Gathering, organizing, analyzing and supporting the data need requirements on behalf of IT and its respective project responsibilities Administer the data needs of the IT projects Perform data analyses as required Document data requirements Work with project and data teams to ensure data lineage and transformations within the project is properly documented Identify, review and catalogue all existing data consumption sources for projects Where feasible, standardize data consumption formats and determine appropriate data storage facility working with data governance, and architecture Continuously make improvements on eliminating redundant copies of data Support automated solution for data to the greatest extent possible Provide oversight and quality control of Data feeds and ensure all master data management fields are carefully managed Complete ad-hoc data analysis as required and data validation on updates made to critical data in systems Conduct regular reviews of Service Provider data elements are validated (ie. tie out major data records) Data feed changes are recognized immediately and appropriate action is taken to ensure compatibility with existing data structures Skills Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings Completed Post-Secondary education in areas of IT, Business or related field, or equivalent working experience More than 1 year of experience as an analyst actively querying and working on complex data strategies Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau Experience with reporting tools Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Oracle Business Intelligence Good understanding of data management principles, data governance, and regulatory compliance requirements Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines and budget constraints Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations Strong organizational skills, attention to details Organizational awareness Focus on key partnerships, teamwork and relationships building Analytical and Problem Solving Skills Performs or leads moderate to complex analyses, accurately Innovation & Creativity Benefits RRSP Contribution After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
