The Financial Service Representative will support members seeking financing solutions through direct interaction and backend application review, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the loan lifecycle. Responsibilities Engage with members via phone, email, or chat to answer questions about their loan, clarify application details, and offer miscellaneous support Provide exceptional service to members by guiding them through financing options tailored to their needs Assist members with submitting various types of documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy Troubleshoot account-related issues and provide clear, empathetic guidance to resolve concerns Review loan applications to assess eligibility with integrity and accuracy which will include reviewing various documents such as utility bills, pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of applications and member inquiries Uphold LendingClub’s servicing ethos: Build a Relationship, Make It Easy, and Think Ahead Skills 1+ years of customer service and/or back-office experience You are passionate about helping others and taking full ownership over resolving issues Thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment Demonstrate strong attention to detail and sound judgment Communicate clearly and empathetically with members Are comfortable working with both customer-facing and operational tasks You can translate feedback to actionable results and consistently strive towards excellence You are proficient in using computers and able to quickly navigate multiple programs, type with precision, and efficiently research/browse information High school diploma or GED equivalent required Have a quiet, dedicated space (preferably with a door) where you can work uninterrupted at home Have high speed internet with low usage during business hours (20MBPS download speed and 5-10 MBPS upload speed) Be able to connect directly into your modem/router (not via wifi); ethernet cord provided Be comfortable trouble shooting technical issues without in-person IT support MUST live and work within 75 miles of the LendingClub office hiring this role While working, it is expected that you are not the primary caregiver to any pets, children, or elderly Required to work on a computer and at a desk for extended periods of time including viewing a screen, using a mouse, and manipulating a keyboard Must be able to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where natural and regular work stressors can occur Lending or financial services experience preferred Benefits Generous paid time off 401(k) match up to 4% ($5,000 per year max) Wellness program with cash incentives and more!
