Position Summary The Fred’s Pantry and Community Partnerships Coordinator blends direct coordination of Fred’s Pantry, CHHOP’s “farm to pantry” food pantry with the cultivation of strong partnerships across the community. This position plays a key role in operating day-to-day food pantry functions while building relationships with faith-based communities, advocacy organizations, service providers, and civil groups. This position connects individuals with advocacy and services to address the social determinants of health. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about food equity, social justice, story, and community centered work. The ideal candidate will bring a readiness to learn and engage in relational style food pantry operations and community building. CHHOP is recognized by its peer-human service agencies, constituents, and stakeholders for its excellence in serving those most in need. The Fred’s Pantry and Community Partnerships Coordinator position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to join a team of mission-driven, compassionate professionals. Key Responsibilities Fred’s Pantry Operations Manage day-to-day operations of Fred’s Pantry, including scheduling volunteers, food sourcing, inventory management, and distribution Track participant and volunteer data to identify emerging community needs Support planning and grant reporting Support and implement “one stop” capacity at Fred’s Pantry Support a mutual-aid food network Community Partnerships Strengthening connections between Fred’s Pantry and the broader food sovereign eco-system, including Regeneration and other local farms, local growers, and community gardens Collaborate with community partners to support a community-based mutual aid food network Develop and coordinate partnerships that bring onsite services, advocacy, and resource navigation to pantry participants Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social justice studies, social services, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Demonstrated commitment to equity, dignity, and the mission of addressing housing and food insecurity Preferred Internship, volunteer, or work experience in a nonprofit setting Spanish/English bilingual Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools Core Values & Competencies Respect for people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences Trauma-informed, compassionate communication Strong sense of empathy, professionalism, and integrity Willingness to learn and grow in a mission driven environment Salary Range: $60,000+, medical and other benefits To Apply: Submit cover letter and resume to: .
