Ford Motor Company is seeking a Finance Analyst to support Product Development Finance across key areas of the business. In this role, you will manage financial targets, support sourcing and cost-related decisions, analyze business cases, and provide reporting and insights to help programs achieve profitability goals. Responsibilities Provide financial analysis and reporting support, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Purchasing, Cost Estimating, Manufacturing, Marketing, Program Teams, and Finance to gather data, develop insights, and support decision-making Support the development of financial targets and track program performance against key financial objectives Assist with supplier sourcing and cost optimization activities in partnership with Purchasing, Engineering, and Cost Estimating Support vehicle and/or component target setting processes, cost workshops, and profitability improvement initiatives Develop and evaluate business cases and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decisions Provide financial support for milestone reporting, cycle plan studies, approval papers, and other program deliverables Track and report latest financial status, including costs, investments, risks, and opportunities Prepare presentations and communicate financial results and recommendations to operating teams and Finance leadership Leverage tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other AI-enabled solutions to improve reporting, visualization, and process efficiency Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives as business needs evolve Skills Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred, especially in Finance, Accounting, or Economics Finance 1-5+ yr experience required with strong analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel, use of AI Tools (EG Power BI) to create process efficiencies Product Development Finance experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being comfortable presenting to operating management Detail-oriented self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional partners Benefits Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up childcare and more Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases Tuition assistance Established and active employee resource groups Paid time off for individual and team community service A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Yearβs Day Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
