Perpetual Asset Management is seeking an experienced Exposure Management Dealer to support the execution, management, and oversight of trading activity across our Fixed Income and Multi‑Asset portfolios, with a particular focus on AUD credit and fixed income markets. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and Investment Operations, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate trade execution, effective exposure management, and strong risk governance, while delivering best execution outcomes and long‑term value for our clients. Key Responsibilities Partner with Fixed Interest and Multi‑Asset Portfolio Managers to develop and execute trading strategies. Execute trades and manage orders across Perpetual Asset Management portfolios using approved brokers and a mix of high‑touch and electronic trading channels. Oversee trade order management and execution to ensure best execution standards are consistently met. Leverage market insights to support informed trading decisions and capitalise on prevailing market conditions. Actively manage and mitigate market, credit, operational and non‑financial risks across corporate, financial and SSA credit sectors. Ensure portfolios remain compliant with investment mandates, including FX hedging requirements. Communicate timely market information and insights to Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders. Ensure trades are accurately captured, processed, and allocated in a timely manner across relevant systems including CRD. Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Research, Sales, Risk & Compliance, and Investment Operations. Develop and maintain relationships with external counterparties, service providers, and industry participants. About you Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or ACI Dealing Certificate (or progress towards) are highly regarded. Minimum three years’ experience in a trading, dealing or risk management role within fixed income, multi‑asset, or financial markets. Hands‑on experience in bond and/or equity trading, with a strong understanding of fixed income products and derivatives. Direct credit trading experience is highly regarded; broader fixed income or multi‑asset trading experience will also be considered. Strong knowledge of the AUD bond market and global macroeconomic drivers. Well‑developed understanding of non‑financial risk, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Strong execution discipline and commitment to best execution outcomes. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex trade flows in a fast‑paced, market‑driven environment. Confident communicator with the ability to convey market insights, risk considerations and operational issues clearly.
