Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Operations and Customer Service Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, developing and implementing process improvements, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our account management team, customers, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities As an Experienced Warehouse Operations and Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: Collecting data and performing statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement MAPPING and documenting processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness Independently identifying process gaps and recommending and implementing process improvements Developing and implementing a thorough, effective, and timely continuous improvement plan to drive value for our customers Driving process improvement activities to achieve tangible improvement in key business metrics, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development Managing and completing high-impact CI projects across the operation that lead to improved business results Assessing CI initiatives and providing input and recommendations on future activities Supporting start-ups, retrofits, and expansions, including pricing inputs, go-live, and steady-state certifications Identifying and supporting automation projects Regularly interacting with account management and/or customers to ensure exceptional service and quality Demonstrating a high level of competency in a wide range of engineering methods, Lean tools, and quality standards Coaching employees in the use and implementation of CI, Quality Assurance, and Lean principles Applying engineering methodologies/tools to improve distribution and/or transportation operations May supervise continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals Participating in employment decisions (hire, coach) and managing performance Effective facilitation and execution of Value Stream Maps & Kaizen Events Providing regular reports of data and actions to measure progress against site objectives Making inventory and/or supply chain strategy recommendations Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, and seven (7) years or more related work experience in the Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing industry; or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management, and five (5) years related experience Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Visio expertise Proficiency in developing and managing: Leader Standard Work, Visual Management Systems, and Management Accountability Systems, Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S/Workplace Organization Understanding and experience in core engineering and data analysis functions, including slotting, utilization, labor planning, layouts, metrics, etc. Lean Six Sigma certification Nice-to-Haves While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX, etc.) Warehouse design tools, such as CAD (e.g. AutoCAD), slotting (e.g. Slot3D), Predetermined Motion and Time Systems and methods (e.g. MOST), Warehouse Management Systems (e.g. Manhattan Scale), and Labor Management Systems Knowledge of material handling solutions and automation types, including powered industrial truck (PIT) applications, racking and other storage solution designs, packaging equipment, conveyor and sortation equipment, and other automation solutions (e.g. AS/RS) cPMP, ISO/QMS certification American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) and/or Supply Chain Logistics Certification Benefits As an Experienced Warehouse Operations and Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including: Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance options Paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family, and parental leave Tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan How to Apply If you are a motivated and results-driven professional who is eager to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
