Our team is comprised of talented professionals who share a common goal: to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading refined data analysis to address critical business questions. You'll work closely with our Clinical Trials colleagues to extract valuable insights from real-world data, clinical trials, and other sources to inform biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests. Your expertise will be essential in driving business growth, improving patient outcomes, and advancing the field of clinical trials. **Key Responsibilities** * Mine raw data collections to deliver normalized, analysis-ready patient partners from in-house data resources or authorized platforms * Analyze and interpret results, and contribute to the development of investigation procedures * Collaborate with colleagues from the arenaflex Clinical Trials team to extract meaningful insights from genuine world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests * Potential projects may include analysis of unmet needs, safe and effective treatment in specific disease states, treatment patterns, and healthcare financial burden, and cost-effectiveness modeling * Clean, transform, and store data into a unified data lake for future analysis and broader team utilization * Perform data mining and statistical analysis to examine RWE/RWD to uncover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment outcomes * Support the development of genuine data, analysis, and stage capabilities, applying advanced investigation and tools to resolve logical inquiries from biopharmaceutical organizations * Work collaboratively on the design and execution of results research studies * Ensure high-quality, thorough, and interpretable expectations from RWE review and examinations * Assemble dashboards, analysis, and reports for internal and external use * Conduct an expected level of effort on new true data suppliers merchants and drive RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions **Essential Capabilities** * 2 years of experience with R, Python, or SQL * Experience in designing and executing effective and reproducible statistical analyses related to epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data * Knowledge of standard statistical testing methods including generalized linear models, regression and classification, decision trees, machine learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis * Experience handling large data from various data sources * Experience handling protected patient health data * Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI visualization tools **Preferred Capabilities** * Mastery in EMR/Health IT, disease libraries, and claims data sets * Aptitude in clinical data principles, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) * Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) * Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions * Experience with trial design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics * Understanding of analytics and AI strategies, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $27/hour * Opportunity to work with a leading healthcare company * Collaborative and innovative work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible remote work arrangement * Comprehensive benefits package **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced Data Scientist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
