You'll also have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related risks and opportunities. **Key responsibilities** As a Team Lead, IT Data Governance, your key responsibilities will include: * Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of arenaflex's data governance policies, procedures, and standards * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related risks and opportunities * Developing and implementing data quality and metadata management strategies * Providing guidance and support to data stewards and other stakeholders on data governance best practices * Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains * Developing and managing budgets and resource plans for data governance initiatives * Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement data governance solutions * Providing training and support to data stewards and other stakeholders on data governance policies and procedures * Identifying and addressing data-related risks and opportunities * Developing and implementing data governance metrics and reporting **What you'll need for success** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, information systems, business administration) * At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field * Experience working with data governance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 38500, COBIT) * Experience working with data quality and metadata management tools and technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations * Experience working with data governance metrics and reporting * Experience working with data-related risks and opportunities **Preferred qualifications** * Master's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, information systems, business administration) * Experience working with data governance certifications (e.g. CDMP, DGSP) * Experience working with data governance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 38500, COBIT) * Experience working with data quality and metadata management tools and technologies * Experience working in a cloud-based environment * Experience working with agile methodologies * Experience working with DevOps tools and technologies **Skills and competencies** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations * Experience working with data governance metrics and reporting * Experience working with data-related risks and opportunities * Strong technical skills, including: + SQL + Data governance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 38500, COBIT) + Data quality and metadata management tools and technologies + Cloud-based environments + Agile methodologies + DevOps tools and technologies **Career growth opportunities and learning benefits** As a Team Lead, IT Data Governance, you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your career with arenaflex.
