As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working from home in a virtual environment to support our pharmacy operations. **Job Responsibilities:** As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Precise reading, interpreting, and entering solutions into our computer system, including the calculation of dosages, assignment of headers, and acceptance of timely payment from insurance companies. * Contacting physicians' offices and insurance agencies to ensure the accuracy of our patients' specialty medication orders. * Occasionally, you will be responsible for answering patient calls to arrange and manage new patient medication requests and reorders, which includes verifying and re-verifying benefits. * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, medication orders, and payment transactions. **Essential Qualifications:** * A valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License * At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy setting * At least six months of work experience with Windows-Based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * Proficiency in typing on a computer keyboard and ability to sit or stand for the length of a shift (8-10 hours) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications:** * At least six months of experience as a pharmacy technician * At least 90 days of experience handling and resolving client needs via telephone * Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with benefits, insurance, and medications * Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical support roles * Experience in client service in an office setting * At least six months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone client care **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in computer software and applications * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
