Our hybrid-onsite role offers the best of both worlds, with Tuesdays-Thursday spent in our Boston, MA office and Mondays and Fridays spent working remotely. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Scientist II on our Customer Technology team, you'll have the opportunity to: * Construct optimized code that massages information from multi-terabyte data sources, including sales, clickstream, logistics, product, and customer databases, to deliver business insights and recommendations. * Collaborate with product management, engineering, and creative design teams to identify the most impactful ways for data and analytics to drive decision making and accelerate profitable growth. * Become the subject matter expert for data, analytics, and testing for your area, ensuring accurate and proper interpretation of core business metrics and consumer behavior. * Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to make high-impact changes to the customer experience. * Perform deep-dive analysis, including the application of advanced analytical techniques, to solve critical and complex business problems. * Develop data visualizations, including reports, dashboards, and analyses in Looker and GBQ, to distribute data insights in an easily digestible manner. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or other quantitative discipline; Master's preferred. * 3+ years of work experience in a relevant field, such as analytics or data science. * Proficient knowledge of a statistical programming language, such as Python, R, SAS, or SPSS. * Proficient knowledge of SQL (including aggregate functions, joins, etc.). * Experience conducting quantitative analyses on large and complex data sets. **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in a quantitative discipline. * Experience working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark. * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. * Experience with A/B testing and experimentation design. * Strong communication and presentation skills. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Proficient in statistical programming languages and SQL. * Experience with data visualization tools and A/B testing. * Strong understanding of data-driven decision making and business growth. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to emerging as leaders and taking on additional projects and responsibilities with strong performance.
