Join arenaflex, a leading staffing and consulting firm, as we seek an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Valley Cottage, NY. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 2nd shift operations, working closely with our team to process payments, maintain site productivity, and meet team goals. **A Day in the Role:** As a Data Entry Clerk, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks that require attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes * Operating Imaging/Extraction equipment (OPEX 50/51/60, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150) * Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions for processing * Verifying negotiability of checks through customer-specific instructions for processing * Analyzing all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed * Re-associating check images to corresponding material while validating quality of images * Maintaining site productivity and quality standards * Occasionally lifting and moving mail trays * Contributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilities * Flexibility and willingness to cross-train and learn all job functions in operations * Making judgment calls regarding routine duties but referring non-routine situations to a supervisor and/or manager * Recommending procedural and workflow changes to enhance quality and productivity **Work Environment:** As a Data Entry Clerk in arenaflex, you can expect a 40-hour work week in a business casual environment. Our office is located in Valley Cottage, NY, and we operate Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
