They are seeking an Entry Level Fire Protection/Plumbing Design Engineer to provide design support for fire protection and plumbing systems, perform calculations, and assist with construction administration tasks. Responsibilities Provide task‑based design support for fire sprinkler, standpipe, special suppression, and fire alarm systems Assist with the layout and design of fire protection systems, including sprinkler and standpipe systems Perform basic fire protection hydraulic calculations and fire alarm battery sizing calculations Assist with fire protection system performance simulations as part of the design process Provide task‑based support for plumbing system layout and design under the direction of senior engineers Develop an understanding of applicable codes and standards, including NFPA and plumbing codes Use Revit and AutoCAD to support fire protection and plumbing design efforts Assist with construction administration tasks and complete assigned work with guidance from project team members Perform other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's Degree in Engineering for discipline work Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain Internship experience preferred Benefits Employer paid health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Annual 401k profit sharing based on company profit for the year and account contribution Professional development reimbursements including state registration and professional association dues Employer paid commuter/parking stipend Cell phone stipend Life insurance and disability benefits Hybrid work schedule Employee Assistance Program 9 paid holidays including an additional employee-selected day Paid time off for sick leave, family leave, community service, holidays and vacation Company Overview PAE provides mechanical and electrical engineering design, technology system design, energy modeling and analysis, and more.
