They are looking for an Entry-Level Chemical/Process Engineer to join their Advanced Facilities Electronics Team, where the role involves various engineering tasks, including developing process flow diagrams and maintaining process designs. Responsibilities Work on state-of-the-art projects, implementing, modifying, and maintaining process designs Assist with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications Work with a multidisciplinary team taking on a variety of tasks that blend theoretical knowledge with practical application Under the guidance of professional engineers, develop flow diagrams, perform sizing calculations for pipe and equipment, and develop process specifications Assist activities ensuring that design and construction conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements Utilize software such as PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, Bluebeam, and SmartPlant Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned Demonstrate the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated projects working in conjunction with a technical team Manage time and responsibilities effectively while maintaining a high standard work product Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role Previous Process Engineering Internship experience Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain Ability to work within the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or anytime in the future Benefits Medical Dental Vision Basic life insurance 401(k) plan The ability to purchase company stock at a discount Deferred compensation plan Executive Deferral Plan Unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees Seven paid holidays Caregiver leave Merit increases Performance discretionary bonus Stock Company Overview Jacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
