Title: Ecommerce Website Developer Needed (WordPress / Woocommerce) – Modern, High-Converting Store Description: We are looking for an experienced ecommerce developer to build a modern, high-converting online store. This is a new project (or redesign-adjust if needed), and we want someone who understands not just development, but also user experience and conversion optimization. Our goal is to create a clean, fast, and visually appealing ecommerce website that drives sales and provides a seamless shopping experience across desktop and mobile. Scope of Work: -Develop a fully functional ecommerce website (WordPress/WooCommerce or Webflow preferred) -Implement a clean, modern, and conversion-focused design -Build key pages: Homepage (brand storytelling + featured products) Collection/category pages Product detail pages (optimized for conversions) Cart & checkout flow -Set up payment gateways, shipping, and taxes -Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility -Optimize site speed and performance -Basic SEO setup (meta tags, structure, etc.) What We’re Looking For: -Proven experience with WordPress (WooCommerce) or Webflow -Strong understanding of ecommerce UX/UI and conversion best practices -Ability to create or work with modern, clean designs -Experience with tools like Elementor, Webflow CMS, or similar -Good communication and ability to meet deadlines -Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Nice to Have: -Experience with CRO (conversion rate optimization) -Experience working with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands -Familiarity with tools like Stripe, PayPal, or analytics tools -Ability to suggest improvements, not just execute Project Details: -Project Type: Hourly contract -Estimated Duration: 2–4 weeks (flexible depending on scope) -Workload: 20–40 hours/week (can be adjusted) -Potential for ongoing work (updates, new features, optimization) To Apply (Important): Please include the following: -Links to 2–4 ecommerce websites you’ve developed -Your role in those projects (design, development, or both) -Your preferred platform (WordPress or Webflow) and why -What you would improve on a typical ecommerce store to increase conversions -Your availability (hours/week) Bonus Question (to filter serious applicants): At the top of your proposal, write “ECOM PRO” and answer: What are the 2 most important elements of a high-converting product page?
