Westinghouse Electric Co is a leader in providing clean energy solutions, and they are seeking a Delivery Stream Engineer I to support the management of project, product, and service deliverables. This role involves coordinating supplier evaluations, facilitating customer communications, and supporting project execution across various energy systems initiatives. Responsibilities Support pre PO and post PO procurement activities to ensure readiness and predictable delivery Assist with supplier identification, evaluation, down selection, and negotiations Communicate key technical and quality requirements to suppliers Collaborate with GSCS, Engineering, Quality, and Supplier Performance Engineering on project planning and execution Participate in Supplier Proposal and Compliance Matrix review meetings Drive cost and schedule certainty through supplier management efforts Create agendas and lead kick-off meetings with Suppliers Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse project support team members Work with Supplier Performance Engineering to develop supplier oversight plans and manage execution of supplier oversight and witness and hold points Review supplier submittals and manage Westinghouse's review performance, by coordinating resource allocation with management Manage supplier commitments after a purchase order or contract is made, including change and contract management Provide periodic schedule and customer status updates, per project requirements Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation Coordinate with the Supplier and Westinghouse Quality Assurance to ensure the Westinghouse Quality Releases (QR) and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been completed, in support of equipment shipments Work with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipment Skills Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering Experience preferred in the Power Generation, Nuclear, or other similar industries Willingness to travel up to 20% to support emergent project issues/supplier development Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required Benefits Comprehensive Medical benefits which could include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage and Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions options Wellness Programs designed to support employees in maintaining their health and well-being including Employee Assistance Program providing support for our employees and their household members 401(k) with Company Match Contributions to support employees' retirement Paid Vacations and Company Holidays Opportunities for Flexible Work Arrangements to promote work-life balance Educational Reimbursement and Comprehensive Career Programs to help employees grow in their careers Global Recognition and Service Programs to celebrate employee accomplishments and service Employee Referral Program Company Overview Laveer Engineering provides custom and off the shelf equipment solutions to industry.
