- **This job could potentially be remote or report to one of our local branches.*** Responsibilities: Assist the Chief Credit Officer with all aspects of lending Independently facilitates the preparation of credit underwriting and analysis of new and existing loans to maintain the bank’s asset quality. Ability to analyze personal and corporate tax returns along with financial statements to compile a comprehensive analysis for rending decisions. Assist in on-going covenant and financial monitoring Works closely with Commercial Loan Officers in gathering financials and documentation imperative in making a sound credit decision Prepares and assembles various monthly and quarterly reports as needed for submission to management Maintains a good working knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies and procedures and identify exceptions to policy Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related degree (or equivalent experience) 3 + years of experience in Commercial Loan underwriting required Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge or interest in learning reporting and data analysis tools Regard for all important details to ensure accuracy in every transaction performed; detect errors; follow through on corrections and details Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks
