Job description TheStreet is seeking a Business Lead with a true “builder” mindset to spearhead the next era of our growth. You will be responsible for the strategic evolution of TheStreet, specifically focusing on scaling our Entrepreneur Publisher network, pioneering new revenue streams, maximizing our video and licensing assets, and evolving TheStreet’s work with AI. The Arena Group’s expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $110,000 - $150,000 . Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law. The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Group’s total compensation and benefits available to its employees. Proven experience in revenue diversification (moving a brand beyond just "ads"). Familiarity with the Video & Syndication landscape. A deep interest in the financial markets and the needs of the modern retail investor. Builder Instinct: You have likely founded a company, been a value creator in a high-growth business unit. You don't wait for a playbook; you write it. Media & Tech: You understand how AI is changing the cost-structure of content and the value of first-party data. You see AI as a tool for scale, not just a buzzword. Hand-on: We have a lean team. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, owning strategies from concept to execution and beyond. Job responsibilities Entrepreneur Publisher Integration: Act as the primary business partner to our network of independent publishers. You will help them scale their individual "brands within the brand," optimizing their monetization and ensuring their growth aligns with TheStreet’s overarching P&L. Next-Gen Business Modeling: Move beyond standard programmatic ads. You will define and execute new models for revenue, including brand licensing deals and the expansion of our video & social business. AI Strategy & Innovation: Lead the integration of AI across the business to drive competitive advantage by leveraging AI for content enhancement and personalization and exploring new RAG-based opportunities. Audience Evolution: Modernize TheStreet’s reach by evolving our distribution strategy beyond search. You will lead the charge in building "social-first" influence to capture the next generation of investors, helping to transform passive readers into a loyal, community-driven audience. Content and Brand Growth: Experimentation with new lanes within the vertical to bolster brand growth while helping drive connective tissue across The Arena Group’s brands where appropriate. Commercial Strategy: Maintain oversight of the budget while aggressively pursuing high-growth bets.
