They are seeking a Building Mechanical CAD Design Technician to work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings and ensure project documents meet professional standards. Responsibilities Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to produce quality drawings Make drawing edits based on mark ups from client and/or Engineers Create and/or modify base drawings Be relied on as productive team member and CAD user to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time Follow CAD standards and process Required Credentials Skills Ability to work well both independently and as a team Attention to detail, quality work products, and client service Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word), PDF editing (Acrobat and Bluebeam) This position requires proficiency in Bentley Software Open Buildings Designer (Connect Edition), Revit, Piping Modeling and Piping Layout Experience using Navisworks or Revizto is also a plus Not required but beneficial Plant3D Software Benefits Medical Dental Vision and basic life insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off (allocated plans start date 17 days per calendar year) Seven paid holidays Caregiver leave The ability to purchase company stock at a discount Legally mandated benefits Company Overview Jacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
