They are seeking to hire an Architectural Designer to join their Mission Critical practice, focusing on performance-driven, highly complex facilities for major technology clients. The role involves assisting in the preparation of construction documents, production of presentation materials, and contributing to cost estimation processes. Responsibilities Assists Project Architect in the preparation of construction documents and specifications using computer assisted design software and equipment Assists in the preparation and production of presentation materials, models and material boards Assists in the preparation and production of various studies and reports Maintains and updates resource material library Meets with product representatives to obtain latest specifications and product information Prepares scale drawings and assists in the development of contract documents Contributes to cost estimation processes, enhancing your understanding of project budgeting and financial implications Schedules technical support staff engaged in the preparation of drawings and specification documents May coordinate technical staff project responsibilities Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives Depending on project needs, may perform a phase manager role in complex projects as needed Skills Bachelor's degree in Architecture 1-2+ years related experience Able to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and other design applications Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite LEED accreditation preferred Must enjoy collaborating with a design team Benefits Freedom to Work program: Set your own schedule and location (as appropriate).
