They are seeking an appearance attorney to cover a wide range of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related appearances mainly in the 5 boroughs, looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm. Responsibilities Represent clients in a variety of default service court proceedings, including bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction-related matters across all five boroughs Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries promptly Manage a high volume of legal matters, including settlement negotiations and litigated cases, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of each assignment Skills Admission to the New York State Bar; admission in New Jersey or Pennsylvania is a plus Eligibility for or willingness to waive into the corresponding federal district courts Strong courtroom presence with excellent public speaking and advocacy skills Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve legal issues efficiently Confident, professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Benefits Medical Dental Vision Flex spending 401k Gym/fitness membership reimbursement Company Overview At Friedman Vartolo, we know default servicing isn’t "one size fits all".
