Job Description

Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Developmental Mathematics. This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Developmental Mathematics through various teaching modalities and ensuring consistent student experiences. Responsibilities Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class Regularly check College email account and department mailbox Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines Skills Associate?s degree with a minimum of 15 college credit hours in mathematics or 7-12 teaching licensure in Mathematics within past five years College level teaching experience Company Overview TBR - The College System of Tennessee is the state’s largest public higher education system, with 13 community colleges, 23 colleges of applied technology (TCATs) and the online TN eCampus serving approximately 170,000 students.
