Your expertise in full-stack web engineering will be instrumental in developing and supporting new business and underwriting applications. You'll work closely with our team of experts to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure web applications that meet the needs of our clients. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain large-scale public-facing e-commerce web applications using front-end UI technologies * Design and implement robust back-end systems using Java and other programming languages * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software using agile delivery methods * Develop comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure, applications, integration, design patterns, database, agile delivery methods, build and deployment processes, software development, and systems engineering * Create architecture documents, including application and infrastructure design documents * Lead innovation through a hands-on approach, driving the development of new business and underwriting applications * Work closely with our team to identify and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions **Qualifications:** * 7+ years of software engineering experience * 5+ years of large-scale public-facing e-commerce web development (front-end UI) experience * 2+ years of Java development (back-end) experience * 5+ years of delivering software using agile delivery methods * Enterprise systems thinking - specifically the ability to see how individual systems and applications interact with the enterprise (big picture thinking) * Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure, applications, integration, design patterns, database, agile delivery methods, build and deployment processes, software development, and systems engineering * Ability to develop a wide range of architecture documents (application and infrastructure design documents) **Essential Skills and Competencies:** * Strong understanding of full-stack web development, including front-end UI and back-end systems * Proficiency in Java and other programming languages * Experience with agile delivery methods and enterprise systems thinking * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
