With a focus on innovation and excellence, we are committed to staying at the forefront of the constantly evolving healthcare environment. **Job Summary** As a Patient Information Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in managing communications with adjusters, attorneys, record retrieval companies, and patients via phone and email. You will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service, managing and organizing incoming and outgoing PI records and billing requests, and ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** • Serve as the first point of contact for adjusters, attorneys, record retrieval companies, and patients via phone and email, providing friendly and efficient service. • Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments utilizing multiple software applications. • Manage and organize incoming and outgoing PI records and billing requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. • Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference. • Demonstrate competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service. • Utilize and operate equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment. • Adhere to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. **Essential Qualifications** • High School diploma with two or more years of CSR experience. • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Knowledge of Medical Billing is a plus. • Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, physicians, patients, and the public and establish good working relationships with internal and external customers. • Proficiency in telephone etiquette. **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with medical records. • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding. • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems. **Skills and Competencies** • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
