JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN: We are seeking an experienced and business‑oriented Global Head – Digital & IT to lead and scale our global Digital & IT Services Vertical , encompassing end‑to‑end software engineering, cloud platforms, DevOps, and enterprise/product engineering services. This is a senior executive leadership role with full P&L ownership , responsible for defining strategy, driving global revenue growth, ensuring delivery excellence, and building long‑term strategic customer relationships. The role leads onsite and offshore delivery teams across multiple geographies and technology stacks, serving global clients across industries. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic & Practice Leadership Define and execute the global strategy and roadmap for the Digital & IT vertical Build and scale service offerings across application engineering, cloud, and platform modernization Identify market opportunities, technology trends, and partnership ecosystems to drive growth Establish a strong Digital & IT brand and differentiated value proposition in the market Full P&L Ownership Own complete P&L responsibility for the Digital & IT vertical Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, utilization, and operational efficiency Lead annual operating planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance Track and deliver business KPIs related to growth, profitability, quality, and customer outcomes Global Customer & Commercial Leadership Develop and manage executive-level relationships with global customers Lead large-scale deal pursuits, proposals, pricing models, and contract negotiations Act as a trusted partner to customers on digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives Partner with sales, alliances, and solution teams to grow existing accounts and win new logos Global Delivery & Operations Management Lead and scale global onsite and offshore delivery organizations Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across multiple geographies and engagement models Establish delivery governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement practices Drive adoption of agile, DevOps, and modern engineering practices across teams Ensure resource planning, talent readiness, and capacity scalability aligned to demand Technology & Engineering Leadership Provide enterprise‑wide technology vision, architectural governance, and engineering leadership for the Digital & IT vertical, ensuring scalability, security, and long‑term competitiveness of all client platforms and solutions. Key responsibilities include: Technology Vision & Strategic Direction Enterprise Architecture Cloud Platform Leadership Technology Governance & Risk Management Innovation, Modernization & Future Readiness Leadership & Talent Excellence Travel Domestic and international travel is expected to support customers, delivery centers, and strategic initiatives. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science , Information Technology, Engineering , or a related discipline 15–20 years of experience in IT services, software engineering, or digital transformation Significant experience managing large-scale global delivery organizations Proven experience owning P&L or large revenue portfolios within an IT or digital services organization Leadership & Behavioral Competencies Strategic thinker with a strong growth and outcomes-driven mindset Excellent commercial and financial acumen Strong executive presence with the ability to influence CXO and board-level stakeholders Proven ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and people leadership capability Additional expectations: Demonstrated success in scaling IT services or digital practices Deep experience with onsite–offshore delivery models Strong customer-facing leadership and negotiation skills REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Demonstrated executive expertise in leading, governing, and scaling large‑scale Digital & IT engineering organizations , with accountability for technology decisions that impact business growth, risk, and long‑term platform sustainability. Key areas of expertise include: Application & Software Engineering Solid understanding of enterprise and digital application development Knowledge of large‑scale frontend and backend application architectures Experience managing complex application development and maintenance ecosystems Programming & Technology Stacks Broad understanding of major enterprise programming ecosystems, including: Backend: Java, .NET, C / C++, Node.js, Python Frontend: Modern web frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) and UI architectures Ability to evaluate technology stack suitability, scalability, performance, and risk Cloud Technologies Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS Knowledge of: Cloud migration and modernization approaches Cloud‑native application design Cost, security, and performance considerations in cloud environments DevOps & Engineering Practices Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts Knowledge of automation, release management, and deployment pipelines Ability to assess engineering maturity and delivery efficiency at scale Architecture & System Design Understanding of: Microservices and distributed system architectures API‑driven and service‑oriented systems Ability to judge architectural quality, scalability, and long‑term maintainability Data, Analytics & AI Understanding of data‑driven applications and analytics platforms Awareness of AI and GenAI use cases within IT and digital solutions Knowledge of how AI is applied in: Automation and productivity Customer experience and insights Decision support and intelligent systems Ability to evaluate feasibility, risk, and value of AI‑enabled solutions (not model building) Enterprise Integration & Platforms Knowledge of enterprise systems and system integration Understanding of middleware, APIs, messaging, and data flows across systems Ability to oversee complex, multi‑system IT landscapes Technology Risk, Security & Quality Awareness of common technology risks in large IT programs Understanding of application security, performance, reliability, and scalability basics Ability to identify and address technical weaknesses in systems and delivery models DESIRED SKILLS: Experience leading multiple technology portfolios under a single P&L Exposure to global clients across multiple industries Background in scaling managed services or large transformation programs Experience working with hyperscalers and strategic technology partners Prior role as Practice Head, Business Unit Head, in IT services We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and global team.
