Our programs combine academic support, social-emotional learning, and enrichment to create safe, engaging environments for children beyond the school day. leadingedgekids.com Onboarding Specialist (Seasonal Contract, Hybrid – 30 Hours/Week) Leading Edge is hiring Two Contract Onboarding Specialists to support our peak hiring season. This role plays a key part in creating a smooth, positive onboarding experience for new hires across our programs. This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person support for hiring events as needed in your local area. Location Requirement: Must reside in Colorado or New Jersey What You'll Do - Manage onboarding for new hires from start to finish - Guide employees through paperwork, background checks, and system setup - Serve as the main point of contact for onboarding questions - Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant - Partner with recruiting and hiring managers to keep onboarding moving efficiently - Troubleshoot issues and keep onboarding on track during peak hiring periods What We're Looking For - At least 1 year of experience in onboarding, recruiting, HR, or a related field - Experience in high-volume environments preferred - Strong organization and attention to detail - Comfortable working independently in a primarily remote role - Clear and professional communication skills - Tech-savvy with HR systems, ATS platforms, and Google Workspace Job Details Contract Dates: May 11, 2026 to September 25, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week 6 hour workday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch This is a hybrid role. Work is primarily remote with occasional in-person hiring event support Typical Hours 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM EST for New Jersey based candidates 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM MST for Colorado based candidates Pay: $22 to $24 per hour Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Talent Specialist and Director of People Operations Perks Calm Premium subscription Employee program discounts Perks at Work Teacher discounts 401(k) eligibility Aflac options Sick time accrual based on state requirements Hiring Process This is a high-volume, competitive posting.
