They are seeking a Research Data Analyst II to provide research and caseload data analysis in support of budget development and policy development related to welfare programs. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and utilizing research methodology and techniques in areas where precedents are lacking or a sparse body of knowledge in the area exists Presenting findings to all levels of management as well as internal and external stakeholders, informing policy development Skills A Statement of Qualifications must be submitted along with your application in order to be considered for this position Strong technical skills in research and data analysis Experience in designing, developing, and utilizing research methodology and techniques Ability to present findings to all levels of management as well as internal and external stakeholders Completion of employment history on the application form (STD 678) Unofficial transcripts for verification if meeting minimum qualifications with education Proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment if residing outside of California Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 or the Electronic State Employment Application Benefits 10% Recruitment and Retention Pay Differential Hybrid telework options Company Overview California Department of Social Services funds several programs that assist underprivileged and vulnerable children and adults.
