The Players Fund (TPF) is a venture platform working at the intersection of sport, culture, and technology. We partner with elite athletes, artists, sports organisations, and tier-one co-investors to build and back ambitious companies. We are hiring a Founders Technical Associate to work directly with one of the founders. This is a high-ownership, high-learning role focused on operations, systems building, and value creation across the platform. The best version of this role continuously automates and elevates itself into more strategic work over time. You will gain exposure across venture capital, sports partnerships (including organisations such as Juventus, Como 1907 and Aston Martin F1), and athlete/artist engagement — operating at the centre of how TPF functions. Tasks Founder Operations Manage inbox, calendar, communications and day-to-day administrative flow Coordinate investor updates and stakeholder communications Support execution across partnerships and strategic initiatives Systems & Automation Identify repetitive or inefficient workflows Build automations and internal systems to reduce friction Architect scalable processes across fund operations and partnerships Technical Builds Develop and manage workflows using tools such as Supabase, N8N and APIs Implement light coding solutions where needed Support internal data infrastructure and reporting systems Community & Platform Value Creation Create value for athletes, founders, investors and partners Support rightsholder programmes and portfolio companies Assist with events, partnership activations and ecosystem engagement This is a dynamic role. One week you may be coordinating investor communications; the next building deal flow automations; the next supporting an event activation. Requirements Demonstrated entrepreneurial behaviour (side projects, startups, builds, automations) Strong technical fluency — comfortable with no-code/low-code tools and ideally able to write code Experience with Supabase or similar database infrastructure preferred Strong written communication skills Ability to operate independently and solve problems before escalating Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration UK timezone compatible or willing to flex Benefits Remote working (with optional on-site time) Full-time role (40+ hours some weeks) Competitive remote base salary Strong equity and incentive participation Direct access to athletes, artists, elite sports organisations and tier-one venture investors Accelerated exposure to venture strategy and fund mechanics Opportunity to grow into future Head of Department roles (Operations, Events, Community, etc.) Most importantly, you will work closely alongside a TPF founder in a steep learning environment designed for rapid growth.
