Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to drive process optimization initiatives within a global manufacturing setting. This is a pivotal fully remote role where you will leverage your expertise to analyze, design, and implement improvements in production systems, workflow, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for leading projects that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality across various manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed studies of current manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies. You will develop and implement solutions using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations managers, production staff, and engineering departments, to ensure successful implementation of proposed changes. You will also be responsible for data analysis, performance metric tracking, and reporting on the impact of implemented optimizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically. You will be expected to mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position demands excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences, including senior management. Experience in designing and implementing automated systems and integrating new technologies into manufacturing processes is highly valued. A proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects in a remote setting is essential for this role. Qualifications: Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. 8+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on process optimization and Lean/Six Sigma implementation. Proven experience leading engineering projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in simulation and modeling software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab). Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment. Experience in (Specific industry like Automotive, Electronics, etc.) is a plus.
