Our innovative solutions enable companies to process and analyze vast amounts of data in real-time, driving business growth, improving customer experiences, and staying ahead of the competition. **The Role** We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Customer Success Architect to join our Customer Success and Professional Services team. As a Customer Success Architect, you will play a critical role in helping customers leverage our data streaming platform to achieve their business results. You will interact directly with customers to provide software architecture, design, and operations expertise, leveraging your deep knowledge of and experience in Apache Kafka, the arenaflex platform, and complementary systems such as Hadoop, Spark, Storm, relational and NoSQL databases. **Key Responsibilities** As a Senior Customer Success Architect, you will: * Help customers determine their platform and/or application strategy for moving to a more real-time, event-based business * Provide feedback to the arenaflex Product and Engineering groups to inform product development and improve customer success * Build tooling for other teams or the wider company to help push technical boundaries and improve delivery quality * Test performance and functionality of new components developed by Engineering * Write or edit documentation and knowledge base articles, including reference architecture materials and design patterns based on customer experiences * Participate in community and industry events to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices * Collaborate with colleagues to help customers build state-of-the-art streaming data infrastructure and optimize existing deployments **What You Will Bring** To succeed in this role, you will need: * Deep experience designing, building, and operating in-production Big Data, stream processing, and/or enterprise data integration solutions, ideally using Apache Kafka * Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple B2B infrastructure software development projects, including driving expansion, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention * Experience operating Linux (configure, tune, and troubleshoot both RedHat and Debian-based distributions) and using cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) for running high-throughput systems * Experience with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) tuning and troubleshooting * Experience with distributed systems (Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.) * Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems, and proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision * Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly and concisely explain tricky issues and complex solutions * Ability to quickly learn new technologies * Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to meet with customers **What We Offer** As a Senior Customer Success Architect at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to: * Work with a talented team of experts in the field of data streaming and Big Data * Collaborate with customers to help them achieve their business goals and improve their data streaming infrastructure * Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge base articles to help customers succeed with our platform * Participate in community and industry events to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices * Enjoy a dynamic and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion * Receive competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off **Come As You Are** At arenaflex, belonging isn't a perk – it's the baseline.
