The role involves receiving and entering medical claims accurately while maintaining production standards and assisting in training new employees. Responsibilities Ensure bill is eligible for MCS review Handle / organize bills to be entered in a timely fashion Enter bill proficiently and accurately into internal system Communicate any special handling of each claim Maintains production standards and production requirements Comply with standard protocol for processing problem claims Responsible for high profile clients, including production, QC, communications, etc Train new employees Function as back-up for filter or filter leads Requires punctual and consistent attendance Must be willing and able to work overtime as required Assist co-workers, supervisor and management in accomplishing production goals Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications and performance of duties Other duties as assigned Skills High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year office experience Data Entry experience Proficient in Microsoft applications Detail Oriented Ability to QC personal work product and correct when applicable Exceptional organizational skills The ability to work independently, as well as with a team The ability to work in a fast paced/production environment Ability to investigate and obtain answers independently Effective and professional communication skills Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skill Requires punctual and consistent attendance Must be willing and able to work overtime as required Benefits Medical (HDHP) w/Pharmacy Dental Vision Long Term Disability Health Savings Account Flexible Spending Account Options Life Insurance Accident Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Pre-paid Legal Insurance Parking and Transit FSA accounts 401K ROTH 401K Paid time off Company Overview CorVel is a nationally recognized claims management and managed care provider with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
