Job Description: Job Title: Business Operations Manager Job Summary: Responsible for the financial, accounting, administrative, and governance management of Epiq’s operations in Brazil and Latin America, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial strength, operational efficiency, and strategic support to the business, in alignment with the company’s global guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy Develop and implement the local financial strategy aligned with global guidelines. Support strategic decision‑making, including investments, and acquisitions. Assess the financial feasibility of projects and initiatives. Advise the Managing Director on financial matters. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead the annual local budgeting and forecasting processes. Develop financial projections. Monitor financial performance and analyze variances. Build financial models and perform scenario analysis. Accounting & Financial Reporting Review the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Present financial results to corporate headquarters. Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information. Cash Management & Treasury Manage cash flow and working capital. Optimize the capital structure. Manage relationships with financial institutions. Ensure adequate liquidity for operations. Analyze potential financial investments to preserve liquidity and generate returns on excess cash. Issue invoices in accordance with contractual terms and service measurements, meeting contractual deadlines. Ensure correct application of taxes and commercial terms. Validate billing information with operational teams. Accounts Receivable Monitor accounts receivable balances and manage customer aging. Perform reconciliations related to collections. Follow up with clients regarding outstanding receivables. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies. Prepare delinquency reports and performance indicators. Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices. Schedule payments. Reconcile accounts payable with the general ledger. Ensure timely payments. Prepare reports and performance indicators. Manage corporate documentation, including corporate acts, registrations, and legal obligations. Interface with external advisors and regulatory stakeholders. Review and support negotiations of client and vendor contracts, assessing financial, legal, commercial, and regulatory risks. Monitor contract terms, renewals, and adjustments. Human Resources Act on key Human Resources matters, including support for benefits management, labor relations, and sensitive personnel issues. Oversee personnel costs, ensuring legal compliance and proper application of collective bargaining agreements and internal policies. Participate in the Commercial Committee, supporting client approach strategies and market initiatives. Manage Epiq’s registration as a vendor with clients, ensuring compliance with administrative, financial, and compliance requirements. Participate in the review of Compliance Advisory proposals and projects, ensuring adherence to methodological standards. Requirements Education : Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Experience : 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role FP&A Budgeting and forecasting Treasury and cashflow management Internal controls and risk management Billing Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Corporate Governance Contract management Strategic thinking Decision-making Strong business acumen Stakeholder management Team leadership and development Certifications : CPA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
