Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stepan Company is a major manufacturer of basic and intermediate chemicals including surfactants and polymers. They are seeking a remote Field Sales Executive to drive sales performance and develop strategies to meet annual goals within the Eastern US region. Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company growth objectives, while meeting or exceeding annual sales targets Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with purchasing, technical, and decision-making stakeholders Work closely with customer and internal R&D teams to support product selection and application needs Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends Maintain accurate and timely Salesforce updates for customer meetings, opportunity pipeline management, and sales forecasts Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Skills 1-3 years relevant experience required Strong written, verbal and negotiating skills Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships Works well independently (capable of working alone in a large geographic area) and in teams Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently from a remote home office and have high levels of motivation and initiative Outstanding problem solving, organizational, and excellent computer skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Bachelor's Degree required in a technical capacity such as Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Willingness and Ability to travel as needed to perform duties assigned 3-5 years relevant experience preferred Knowledge of Surfactants preferred Salesforce, Power BI, SAP experience preferred Benefits Discretionary Bonus Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401K with Match Profit Sharing Paid Time Off (PTO) Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (STD / LTD) Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Parental Leave Adoption Assistance Reactions – Recognition Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Company Overview Stepan Company's vision is to create innovative solutions for a cleaner, healthier, more energy efficient world.
