Job Description
We are hiring high-performance Energy Consultants to consult homeowners on solar and energy storage solutions. This is a customer-facing sales role focused on educating homeowners, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals with professionalism and urgency. This is not a retail sales job. This is a consultative, numbers-driven role for individuals who can build trust quickly, control the conversation, and close. You will meet with qualified homeowners and guide them through a solar and energy solution that fits their home and financial goals. Your responsibilities include: β’ Conducting in-home or virtual consultations with pre-qualified homeowners β’ Analyzing utility bills, home energy usage, and roof layouts β’ Presenting customized solar and battery solutions clearly and confidently β’ Explaining financing options and long-term savings β’ Handling objections and closing contracts β’ Accurately documenting customer information and agreements β’ Coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff post-sale This role is for closers with presence. You should have: β’ Strong communication skills and confidence on camera and in person β’ Experience in sales, consulting, or customer-facing roles β’ Ability to handle objections without getting defensive β’ High self-accountability and strong follow-through β’ Comfort working in a performance-driven environment β’ Ability to learn technical concepts and explain them simply Solar experience is a plus, but not required.
